​I started programming in high school with Fortran 77; yeah... Fortran.  I found that I enjoyed writing code.  During college I learned COBOL, Pascal, C and others.   In the '90s I found a passion for HTML, Perl and Java.  Back in the early 90s, the web was a rather drab place; filled with gray or white backgrounds and black text.  As the web grew during the mid-90s, so did my skills.  I added Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and Director to my skillset.  I have created many websites, interactive greeting cards and games over the years.

Today the web is a much different landscape full of dynamic web pages, interactive games, social media and instant communication.  Thanks to the skills of creative professionals, it is now much easier for anyone to create, build and maintain their own website, blog or application.

I now rarely create web sites or animations.  I focus mainly on logo, print and video design.
